Toast Jam Factory, "you toast we jam"!

Heihoo, finally my first post as an medical intern or also known as "dokter muda" or co-ass.. Thanks to cece Elita who forced me to update my blog, hehe.. There are so many great experience since becoming an intern.. Meet a bunch of patients with unique disease, take care of them, help delivering babies, involve in surgeries, do CPR (as in movies minus mouth-to-mouth breathing control =P), meet many great seniors and residents, and so many more.. All of them makes me realize how lucky I am to be a future doctor and keep making me so thankful to God.. Like they said, to become a doctor is such a great privilege.. Thanks, Lord Jesus :)

Okay, let's go to my new culinary experience.. Toast jam factory! A brand new simple cafe with unique concept and white atmosphere.. I went here with my beautiful best friend, Jing2, for a nice saturday night chit chat..

First of all, we had ice teh susu (Rp15.000,00+).. The tea flavor is perfectly match with the milk and created a great blend.. nice taste =D ow ya, they served the milk tea with jars which makes them so cute >.<

Next is chocolate and cheese toast (Rp15.000,00+).. There are two size of toast served here.. medium and large one.. The medium one only consist of one slice of bread while the large one are two.. And yeah, we ordered the large one =D

I think they use the nutella spread which make it tasty =) The bread is also so soft..

Next is kaya origininal toast (RP12.000,00+).. Unfortunately, there is no thing so special with this one.. I prefer yakun kaya toast or my hometown homemade kaya spread more than this..

 Last but not least, ham and cheese salad (Rp15.000,00+).. They served the ham and cheese not in great proportion with the vegetables =( hmm, and less seasoning too =|

Kebanyakan orang yang datang ke sini MUNGKIN karena waitress-nya yang hot and sexy =P gimana nggak, pakaiannya memang mini dan press body. Hoho.. Tapi bukan itu yang membuat saya (atau Ko Eko =P) mampir ke sini. It was because I was craving for the chicken wings!! Yapp, this restaurant is recommended by my cousin, Ivonny. Let's proof the taste of chicken wings yang katanya super nikmat. Glegg...

Chicken wings di sini nggak dijual satuan tapi dijual per porsi isi 10 (S$11.90), 20 (S$21.90), atau 50 (S$47.90). Karena masih mau mencoba menu yang lain, kita pesan yang isi 10. Ada 5 macam pilihan saus: samurai, medium, hot, 3 mile, 911. Pilihan kami jatuh pada samurai sauce, an oriental delight sweet teriyaki sauce.

Selain chicken wings, kami juga pesan The Ultimate Ham and Cheese Sandwich (S$13.50) yang datang lebih dulu.

Yummz.. Ham and melting cheese-nya nikmat. Selain itu juga disajikan dengan potato salad. O ya, this food contains pork so it's not halal..

Kami juga pesan Hot Dog Platter (S$12.50) yang merupakan resep asli Hooters sejak 1983 =)

It looked so great how the cheese slice was melting on the sausage. Sosisnya dari daging sapi jadi jangan kuatir soal kehalalannya =D Side dishes-nya ada bolognese, baked bean, onion, coleslaw, plus pickles.


Hey hey, how about the chicken wings?? Setelah penantian yang sedikit lama, then this is it, Hooters' chicken wings with samurai sauce!!

Begitu datang, rasanya sudah ga tahan buat nyaplok chicken wings-nya. Apalagi perut juga sudah mulai kerucuk-kerucuk (okay, I knew I had eaten a lot before =S). So I'm terribly sorry for a lil' bit blurred picture, soalnya fotonya juga sambil saingan antara tangan dan perut. Setelah jeprat-jepret, langsung tancap. "Krauss!" Kulit ayamnya crispy but juicy! I don't know how to describe it exactly. Kulitnya renyah tapi sausnya perfectly membungkus semua permukaan ayamnya. Saus teriyakinya manis dan gurih. Daging ayamnya empuk. Hoaahhh, I can say that this is the best chicken wing I've ever had!!!  Cece Elita juga bilang begitu. Thanks a lot, Von, for your recommendation =* I tag this chicken wings as one of my favorite food! Dan kami sekarang menyesal kenapa cuma pesan 10?!?!?!?!?
